I'm planning on using some of old SM era Ork Battlewagon. My L&TD will be mainly Khornate with daemon engines etc and so the skull on old Ork Battlewagon will do fine. Pluws I have a load of them!

Not a bad plan. I'm always after units that can be used across multiple armies! To eBay..........

Does anyone know if the books GW are currently selling have been updated like the pdfs have? Also does the big hardback book contain Swordwind, or just the rules?

Current book is not updated, to my knowledge. I don't think there is a hardback, but the current softback for sale is just the core book and not the Swordwind rules.

That's about it. One thing to remember about the '08 amendments is that they were not made by GW. They were made to the PDF by our very own Hena and it took quite a while for GW to get them up on the site. It is disappointing that GW didn't authorize a follow-up print run for Swordwind, but that's the case with all the SG supplements - BFG Armada, WM Armies, etc, are all online only now.

I know I refer to my hardcopy rulebook at least as much as the PDF, but part of that is personal inclination - I have a difficult time properly integrating information from large computer documents, and if a hardcopy rulebook is unavailable, I always end up printing a copy to use anyway.

It's the one on the GW website.

It's in the Epic Armageddon Resources section of the Epic Armageddon section of the Specialist Games section of the website.

Or, in other words, here: http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/conte ... a&section=
