I presume the green on the figs is "green stuff"or equivalent but what is the white?

As far as I've been able to gather it is because they have different properties. GS is rubbery even after curing, which makes it hard to shape after cured. It is good for organic shapes because it doesn't hold an edge well - partly because of the rubbery consistency, AFAIK. Magic Sculpt is harder, easier to shape with a blade or by sanding after cured, but is less effective at mimicing organics as a result.

Actual sculpters can correct any errors I've made, but it's a case of the right tool for the right job, in essence.

I agree with Spectrar Ghost, I would try first with GS. is more easy.

I often use them both for different reasons, the first reason is because have different colors, it helps me to see better the details that I'm doing.
