As a beginner in terms of games played, I love the current arrangement. I vastly prefer the current duplication... especially if the alternative is a long list with Blood Angel SM Bikes, normal SM Bikes, and Ravenwing Bikes all next to each other (as an example).
I also really like how you can take a quick look at all the lists you might be able to use with your models, and instantly see which ones are completely vetted, are in development, or are experimental. It really makes a big difference to know how well established a certain list is. In fact, I wish there were even more context, like the pages that EpicUK's army lists dedicate to explaining why the lists are as they are.
If I must criticize, then it does seem like we could reduce the margins and still make the document work for A4 people and 8.5"x11" people. Knowing Dobbsy though, he's done the math and I'm just wrong. If none of this work had already been done (and GW hadn't set the precedent), maybe the unit stats would've been easier to read in portrait. But it works and it looks really nice. Thanks!

Something I would really like to see is to have the pdf Bookmarked. It saves a ton of time for those of us who use it mostly in pdf form, and saves us from having to redo the bookmarks with each new iteration of the pdf.

In the reference/stat sheets, what order are the units in? I have trouble finding things. I know it was GW’s decision not to use alphabetical order so I can understand sticking with it, but I always feel lost in those lists.

They're broken down by unit type (Character, Infantry, Light Vehicle, Armored Vehicle, War Engine, Aircraft, Spacecraft) and then alphabetically within those classes.

The templates I've been working with will be bookmarked as well using outline styles. So you'll be able to hop from section to section in the bookmarks toolbar in your PDF viewer. It'll also allow us to keep an accurate TOC.

One feature I really miss in here is a way to 'like' or 'thank' a thread or a post.

Have these errors been corrected Dave? I also noticed that several pages of lists bleed lines over onto separate pages after the adjustments.

Not yet, they'll be fixed in the July release.

Any chance that the next PDF can have some bookmarks in it?

That's the plan for the tournament pack/rules compendium (not sure what we're calling it yet) which should be out in a few weeks. If we can get all the lists moved over to the new templates for the 2013 compendium then yes for that too.

One quick question on the Ailtoc list: The Rangers host can take Falcons at 200 points, but in general Falcons cannot transport Rangers (they can only transport Aspects and Guardians). Was there an intention to allow this transport option for the Ailtoc list, or even in general? Otherwise, this seems a pretty bizzare option.

That was something I brought to Chroma's attention. I've yet to hear back from him yet but if I had to guess what you'll see in a few weeks will have Falcons transporting Rangers. At least in the datasheets, I doubt BT will get changed to allow it via the army list, but Alaitoc will have the option.
