Well, time to raise this thread from the grave only to quickly bury it again...
The army is done, just had to post finished pics of the stuff I entered in epicomp, namely the special dreadclaw and the banelord.

First up, the dreadclaw. In my tradition of making models that reflect my disdain for my friends' armies (in a heartwarming way of course), I put the pod on a stand about to crush an Onachus trygon:

On occasion I like to point out to Dave that I have the most carnifexes painted up in our gaming group, and offer to loan him one. I don't do this often as I suspect he might jab a pen in my eye after one too many times :P

Last, but certainly not least, is the banelord. The conversion work is covered earlier in the thread. For the paintjob, I decided on a black scheme, with parts painted as scavenged equipment from foes defeated over the millennia. Of course, this led me to use Dwarf Supreme's titan legion colors (morning stars) for some of the carapace, and I tried to imitate Dave's blue titans for the "codpiece." The warp runners and red scheme were selections based upon color preference.

The metal bits were silver, washed with devlan mud followed by another wash of badab black. I cannot remember how I did the black, suffice it to say that there were a lot of layers of gray, a couple washes, and some very tedious grey panel lining.

Thanks for all who voted for these and my other entries on the epicomp!

Oh, the mutated skin and wiring was painted light grey, washed with leviathan purple, then drybrushed with grey and white.

Really nice work on both of those, will definitely be looking to get inspiration from that banelord for whenever I get round to chaos.

Is that the army finished... Army shot?

I have been trying to think how to paint my titans and I think I just got some inspiration from your titan, thanks!

Great stuff. I love the descending drop pod (and voted for it). Do you have (or plan to have) an "extra" objective for every regular opponent?

Thanks! As you know, I couldn't have finished it without some bitz help from the UK :) I'll see about getting an army shot sometime soon.

And thank you for your vote, sir. The Children won't have an extra objective for all of my opponents, but I'd like to do that across all of the armies. For example, I'm hoping my siege IG can be "interacting" with a squat trench line/artillery position sometime in the future. :P

At long last, the money army shot(s). It only took a couple of weeks...

Wow, this ended up being a lot of stuff. The overview:

And then some closer views:

Daemons and Aircraft

And now the update portion of the thread is wrapped up. Thanks for looking!

They are OOP unfortunately. I acquired those second hand from GlynG a while back.

Check-minus for observation, David.

The oblits are right in front of the preds, on the left. They're lightly-modified robots.
