Finished the other feralscout. I pictured the head kinda sewn up in skin of the victims and ripped on one side showing the demon face under.

BL,

Love the titan, the extra bits added mixed in with the water stuff looks awesome, good colour scheme aswell,

Best bit though is the pond on the back, it reminds me of one of those plants in the tropics that intice animals/insects in and then close, drown and them eat them :D Its a very cool touch makes the titan look uber dirty and rotten ;)

Look forward to more updates,

Regards epic

Sorry for the bad pics these where taken with my phone, it turns out my roommate thinks he can take his camera places with him... I did finish the deathguard army and here are the last pics.

Image
Here is the lord with the termies.

Image
Heres the feralscouts with their bases finished.

Image
A shot with the dreads on their bases aswell as the oblitorators on the upper right based.

Image
The grand army.

Which consists of:
2 deathguard squads of 6 stands each, one is being lead by a sorcerer, with 6 rhino transports. The squads consist of 3 deathguard stands and 3 plague marine stands.
1 squad of terminators with lord character, and 4 landraiders for transport.
4 dreadnaughts.
3 stands of oblitorators.
12 stands of plague zombies.
10 stands of plague bearers.
3 hand sculpted plague toads to represent chaos spawns/demons.
1 great unclean one.
2 Feralscout titans.
1 Plaguelord titan.

The only base that isn't a custom hand sculpt by me is the plague lord titan which has a working wheel counter. This is the most effort i've ever put into an army with customizations and convertions. The effort really paid off and it looks very nice. Comment welcome on the whole.

wow! Awesome conversions and that muddy water swamp effect is simply amazing. For the terminally lazy among us who should read the whole thread but don't, how did you get that effect? Someone with a siege army should do something like that, it'd fit the whole WW1 battle of the Somme feel of Krieg or Siegemasters down to the ground :)

Unfortunately no oponents, I havent found anyone else that plays in my neck of the woods. But this army is a commission job for someone, wish i could test it out before i sent it off though.

So i havent painted anything up in awhile as i've been traveling for the holidays. So i'm getting ready to paint a space marine army, What i can't decide is what chapter i want to do. I have the carchadons in mind from the badab wars, also thought the red scorpions would be cool. They are both grey though. I also thought my own chapter the phoenix legion might be interesting. Main colors would be Bleached Bone, with blazng orange on the shoulder pads and gold trim around the edges. Any one have any thoughts on this? Or would they like to see a specific chapter painted up?
