I know the rumors from the reliable source that in first day of September the new modern wargame will be released by new company. It is about helicopter warfare and it brings a lot of new and innovative solutions. The book itseld is printed in fine quality and comes together with full set of counters and card. The game is designed for any skale, but smaller ones (2,3,6mm) are recommended.

Will the English be better than in this post? Please share more info.

Yap, I'm Polish. Sorry for my English, but then I write fast in spare time at work I sometimes make the mistakes.

Anyway the game had been cerefully proof-readed by two persons, including one who soon will deal with it professionally.

The game has the following features:
- highly objective-orientated
- tactical level (one model, one vehicle / infantry team)
- pre-planed actions
- alternate activation
- highly stressed electronic warfare and fog of war
- card-based mission system
- doctrine system instead of fixed army lists
- rules for helicopters, airplanes, vehicles, AA systems, off-table support and so on
- extreme tactical flexibility

i love me some gunship, so colour me very interested in this

It seems very interesting... a good chance to play in 6 & 3mm with helicopters and other modern stuff. I hope it´s utterly diferent to Cold War Commander, as I really dislike that system.

It's completly different. The only thing which can link this game with CWC is similar construction of the rulebook with a lot of color examples.
It isn't Beer&Precel as it requires a lot of thinking. The rules are easy to learn, but the game is hard to master, as the opponent may use many diffent tactics to win.

Any distances are measured base to base.
Probably there will be a few models sets (3mm) in good price released together with a game or shortly after. These starters should be enought to start a game freely and by combining two of them there will be a possibility of composing full scale Strike group together with ground targets. A good informed source claims that there should be also small expansion sets, which allow to add big collection of airplanes or artillery or prepare battlefield with ruins and trees.
