The detail on those Land Raiders is just amazing. Great work.

Wow Vaaish.... the land raiders are rediculously good.... they would be really good if they were 28mm scale. Thanks for reminding me how cool Epic models really are..... now all I need to do is somehow convince some of the guys in my small regional center they should play so I can get back into Epic.

Mark,

Maybe you should move mate, get closer to Steve, or venture to the east coast.

Cheers
Aaron

Thanks, I've got a few more up on the table before I move on to some smaller bits of Blood Ravens :)

Thanks! Well, I'm off for the weekend tomorrow going white water rafting and I wanted to get these up before I left. These are the last of the Blood Ravens land raiders before moving into the infantry. I still need to go back and varnish them when I get back Sunday. Overall I'm pretty happy with them. You might notice the color is a bit different than the last few and that's because they were some of the black primed models. I gave them a quick dusting of white to help keep them out of the purple range but the color is still a bit darker.

Next up though is a battletech victor mech. The last of the first lance before I FINALLY get to painting my 40k techmarine. If all goes well he and his retinue will be done by Christmas. :)

I am in awe of all the lens work, you must have the world's most steady hands.

Thanks! steady hands... maybe, but a lot of it is bracing to keep the brush steady and small brushes.

Superb work - particularly liked the colours used for the tracks - stands out much better than the usual black and silver.

Thanks. I'm still debating on the tracks. Haven't decided if doing the boltgun and washes underneath would be better than this or if it makes them too busy and gets lost under the rest.

Stunning looking Land raiders (and also Razorbacks which I missed first time round). loved the blood red colours, the weathering and basing just make them pop. Cant wait to see a whole Epic army doen to this great standard.

Also keen to see what you come up with for battletech. As a Davion player myself i have to confess I have a soft spot for the Victor. There is just something about a jumping Assault mech with an AC20!!

Cheers

James
