Last night was great for me! It actually snowed in Sheffield! Yay! Also, I spent about an hour last night trying to keep my friend standing...he had had too much by 10 O'clock and this was nearing 12! So I had to take him home in the freezing snow...20 mins walk from the pub and back again. Then a load of us set of walking home in the other direction in the snow...VERY cold. One guy who came with us fell over and broke his collar bone! Stupid snow! Or maybe it was the drink... I finally got in at 1.45 this morning, after over an hour and half in the snow. I think I have a cold now
Overall, an excelent new years all round!
Cheers
Chris

Urgh... Feeling pretty nauseous... head hurts... absolutely no recolllection of what happened after 1 am... woke up at a friends house this afternoon... was told he had to drag me home at 7 am... New years resolution: never to touch alcohol ever again (...well until the next time )
All in all an excellent New Year... or at least it willl be once the room has stopped spinnning arround

No, unlike Kitty, she has maintained her amateur status ... I look forward to seeing her at the gym/work today !

Went out to a Vinotheque with the wife - fun, but the first thing I did in 2004 was to pay the bill; the second was to get drenched in a freezing rainstorm. By the way, on the 31st I rolled the premonition die - this is a tradition (est.2003...) which dictates the way die rolls will go on average in 2004. I got a four - very much over my personal average*...we'll see.
*Note - members of the local gaming community occasionally amuse themselves by asking me to roll a die. The outcome is almost always a 1. I onbce practiced rolling leadership tests on 2D6. Out of thirty rolls, I got seven which were an average 7 or more; the remaining 23...

Larry Leadhead, is that you? I hope you do not plan to oust the current emperor of bad luck: me.
