Superglue started out as a liquid bandage after all.

Just checking; you are going to the doctor, right? If it's that bad to need a bandage then it may well need stitches. Trust me, as a connoisseur of hand injuries.

Nah, I am too tough for doctors (or scared) :D

It is healing up quite well actually and I was able to rip off the dead part of the skin at the top of the thumb. The body is a remarkable invention in the way it heals.

I am a little miffed this month as apart from injuring myself, I have painted up two Lords of Battle however I am still waiting for the appropriately sized bases to arrive to base them on.

With any luck they arrive in the next 24 hours and I can get them posted here as part of the March completion (albeit posted a little late).

In the meantime I was able to finish the other two objectives that I will use for future games.

Firstly the 'Blood' Objective. This is the one that caused me to bleed when I changed the base from a 25mm one to a 40mm one

The 'Brass' Objective is one I have to thank Morgan for. While I was meandering around looking for an idea on the 'Brass' Objective that was different, he came up with the idea of the cube from a movie he could not remember. Being a horror fan, I knew it instantly as the Hellraiser cube. After purchasing one that was far too big (I may use it as a Necron Harvester), I found this one that was an acceptable size.

So that is it for now until I am able to get a hold of those bases - then I will post up the honking 850 points worth of Lord of Battle Lovin'. :)

Eureka miniatures. It is a minotaur from their 10mm range that I weapon and leg snipped and pushed into the pool of blood.

It is supposed to be like a summoning pool where such Daemons come out of.

cool objectives, although the blood could be gory-er. that minotaur is a great find
it reminds me i really should figure out what to make for my objectives!

Happy to report that the bases I was waiting for arrived and so I found some time (which was a miracle in itself) to base the minis. Here is the result:

So that is another 850 points that was completed (really) in March bringing my total to complete down to 1625 points. No doubt I will have far more than that to complete as yet, however that will at least keep me honest in regards to my New Years resolution.

Not really sure what I am going to work on next. There are so many options sitting on the desk waiting for me.

Great, good brass and eyes, the large base shows your subtle weathering on the ruins well as well.

Thanks guys. It was a real hard time to not procrastinate over doing these, but I am glad that they are done and out of the way.

I rushed the weathering which shows (IMO) so I will try and do better next time. No use going over it again. best to move forwards. :)
