A few weeks back I had an argument with my sister-in-law who was upset that I was threatening to shoot the squirrels that keep ravaging my garden. She threatened to call PETA. My response?

"You can invite PETA out. I don't have to lead them as much as I do the squirrels."

Remember, eat what you kill.

Never had squirrel. Don't know if I could honestly hit one - they are fracking quick little guys. I'm gonna try the owl decoys which supposedly work fairly well. Hey! You could use owls as a vespid proxy!

And we've come full circle.

All this nonsense reminds me that the Evil Space Elf / Dark Eldar proxies that I made have Scourges which are winged. They might be a bit bulky for Vespids but you never know.

Yen's dad used to catch them with giant mousetraps. It (squirrel meat) was a staple of her family when they first got to the States. He took an AK-47 round to the head getting across the Thai border, and was a little quirky thereafter.
