Krawla is reasonably easy:

From the front back: 1 plastic alternate Bonebreaker turret, 1 E40K Squigoth turret, 1 Mk1 GG turret, 2 SM2 Bowelburner turrets, 2 E40K Wierdboy towers, 1 Mk1 GG shoulder, 1 Mk1 GG Observation tower, 2 bottom gun pieces from E40K flakwagons, Back part from a Mk1 GG hull, all sitting on some 40K Wartrack tracks, some Killer Kans spikes and a bunch of plastic card. There might be another bit of a Mk1 GG hull making up the prow of the Krawler but it can't be clearly seen in the photo.

The Mega Gargant is harder. Mostly original MG, plus one double zap gun and 2 bigger turrets from E40K/E:A GG, a roller from a E40K Giblet Grinder, a Buzzsaw arm from the 40K bitz range, plus a second one except with a snipper from the old Killer Kan, the mouth from a Deth Dread, 3 plastic Bonebreaker turrets, two "teeth" hull pieces from plastic Bonebreakers, some plastic and possibly one metal 40K heavy shootas, two 40K Stormboy jump packs, plus some other assorted gubbins.

(I use the original name for stuff, so Bonebreakers = battlewagons and Giblet Grinder = gunfortress etc.)

Oh, and Dwarf admirals everywhere are gnashing their teeth over the looting of a sturdy Ironclad by those perfidious Orcs.

Yes I was only waiting for someone to notice the defiled Ironclad. I hesitated to do it myself. But the top bit was missing, so in the end I decided that the Orks could loot the hull. How else are they to come up river?

Warboss Nuglugs Slavers have been hard at work beating the paintgrots and this is the result so far.


I really want to have this beast finished before the weekend where we have a HUGE Epic battle comming up in Copenhagen. It is going to be an Ork WAAAGH!! attacking various Imperial armies including 2 Imperators!! We will play some initial scenarios giving bonuses/penalties to the final battle where we are expecting to have somewhere between 40.000 and 60.000 points on the table!

You were pretty much dead on. The gunners on the back of the krawla are from warbuggies and it is indeed the top hull bit from the oop great gargant that makes up the prow of the krawla.

Just a quickie update. Here is a rough shot of todays work. I finished up the Mega Gargant, it is now tabletop worthy, I might go back later on and tidy up some of the details. And I basecoated a Great Gargant and my Krawla. I have tomorrow to finish the two of them so they don't miss out on this weekends massive WAAAGH!!

So this weekend we had a mega battle where an ork WAAAGH attacked an Imperial Hive city. Defended by the Imperial Guard, Ultramarines and a Titan Legion including two! Imperators.

In the end we ended up with approximately 20,000 per side.

We started at 3 o clock and ended the game around midnight at the end of turn two. As it became apparent that it could only end in a draw.

There was actually lots and lots of infantry. But they stayed in their transports. The traffic jam was bad enough without a lot of ill tempered orks milling about.

The heroes of the day was without question the crews of two Deathstrike carriages. They fired their weapons with incredible accuracy. They dealt 11 damage to a Gargant and started 3 fires. And in addition to that they succesfully beat back an airassault from a Landa filled with Stormboyz!!
