Well, it is a sad day for me. Not only did I just learn that the new Battlestar Galactica series is only two freakin episodes long (god that Cylon chic is HOT!!!!!!), but GW is no longer selling their Man O War minis. They have cleared out their archive.
I absolutely love Man O War, and think it is the best GW game ever made. I have just about everything except the Elf fleet, and while a lot of it is still available on ebay, it'll all cost even more money than before. Luckily, I already have things like the Chaod Dwarf fleet, Bretonnian Corsairs, etc. Has anyone ever seen what the Corsairs go for on ebay? I have seen the set of three sell for over $45! That is three minis!!!!!
Well, thanks Nigel for writing an amazing game. Too bad it didn't sell better.

Yeah, kind of terminator like things. ?Normally I wouldn't like it, particularly. . . well, a few of us are discussing it in one of my forums. Here's the thread:

I have a pic of the new Viper there too under the model forum.
Viper
The chic is gorgeous, and apparently there are twelve of her. ?I could sit back and watch the show just for her.
So far I like it though.

Ahhh, the Cylon 'Victoria Secret' model. When does this program hit the UK?
I thought that Man O War was being redone as Man O Warmaster, with rules to fit in there. It is possible that it is suffering from the 'Epic problem' where minis are withdrawn until the re-release.

They are considering redoing Man O War in a Warmaster style but they really dislike the fleets and are going to completely redo them to a more realistic style.

It will never be as good as the original. Not to knock warmaster, but the variety and character of the man o war fleets just won't be duplicated in a new version.
I have never felt that there was a huge difference in the armies in epic for example, I mean, learn to play one and you'll learn to play them all. In man o war, each fleet is so different that what works for one won't necessarily work for the other.
It is a classic. I feel sorry for anyone who hasn't played it or own it.

Hi!
I have played only a few games from GW that made me WANT to buy an army for it. MOW was one of those games. I had a blast playing it. To bad its not readily available anymore.

Quote (primarch @ 12 2003 Dec.,13:10) | Hi!
Hmmm...looks like you can make a buck or two selling them on e-bay. I know this little store in PR that has some MOW stuff.
Its been sitting there for years. Time to go pick it up.
Primarch | if they have the rules, fetching them for me is mandatory. thank you for your cooperation.
