This is a great looking army, very much inspires me to add a Knight AMTL army to my long list of projects

Thanks a lot people!

It's very motivating to hear that I've actually managed to paint something people like.

I do think this was my first and final outing of the Knights though. Now they're painted I have to use my time on something else.

So I'm doing a Khorne thing. I haven't really had the time to understand the current available lists, but I might go for some counts as.. I want both beastmen, minoes, demon engines and marines with my khorne, thank you. I think the b-men could do as demons. Not perfect, but not arse.

Balance is not really a problem as I only play to confuse the enemy. *smiley*

firstly great pics and nice looking army.
Second, are those your blast markers in the battle pics that have the explosion effects in them , the ones that are on the red knights in the picture ? if so any chance of a quick "How to" guide, they look totally fantastic and id love to make some up for my army.

Cheers

They belong to my local gaming club, Emperor's Pride. It's ordinary railway kits, perhaps 1:87 scale.

Sorry for the thread necromancy, but I stumbled across your army for the first time while doing a google search for epic knight models and I wanted to say how awesome it was! I reckon it's one of my all-time favourite Epic armies and I love you how you made all the disparate schemes come together with a really well done retro scheme. Well done :)

How did you make the objectives by the way? Are they scratchbuilt?

In case Thorbjorn doesn't see this thread, let me politely reply. Yes the objectices are scratchbuilt. The defense gun is a couple of slotta bases stacked on each other with a gun on top, the factory is some sort of exhaust - perhaps 40k, and the missile silo is equally simple. You can find more pictures by scrolling a bit down in this thread: http://www.powerfist.dk/forum/index.php?topic=41065.0
