Should the tankette be redone to consistent scale?

My tankette mold might be degenerating. This may be an opportunity to re-do it at a slight reduction to achieve the new standard of 5:1 scaling. Shall I investigate further?

'Meh' was just thinking of painting some in fact.
If i was a person with some of the larger ones already and needed more, a scale change would bug me. If i was after some for the first time, id prefer the smaller size. As i am neither, meh... :)

If I were the owner of some 1:4's, I'd want to replace them all with 1:5's.

I think that if you were to do them anew, it would be a good opportunity to think about going a bit modular maybe? So a variety of hulls and a standard set of tracks perhaps... Like the E40k tanks (which allows you to have bigger undercuts as well if you want them). The hulls could be made hollow and then filled with GS for the production mould (which saves prototyping and bronzing costs) too perhaps?

I just think if you're going to do a re-make, it may as well be a significant improvement - otherwise just make a new mould from the existing bronze and try a new project instead.

Either way, I happen to like the scale they are at now as it means I can put a figure or two in the back if I want to.

Oh, and I voted "D".

Meh, whatever. I'm not obsessed with things being exactly 1:5.

i quite like them at the scale they're in now. you can stick a figure or two in the back, or a missile pod quite nicely. any smaller, and that becomes tricky.

I think you should make some Sneaky ScouteMera's that that would work well as plug ins for the arma hull...you know...something that might proxy a light scouting Salamandery type vehicle...I'd use them as Siegfried proxies too...but you already know that!
