Sorry ;D , I just gave it a try
I did one of my niciest Tau trades with a guy from Portogal
Anyway here are some more Squat units
Ironshield APC(Exodus wars) I think they fit very well as Ironshields
Steelhawk gyrocopter (Exodus Wras)

again failed on the windows :'(
do not want to paint them in blue, like WMN example on the Exodus Wars site, because the main color is already blue
BUT I KNOW IT HAS TO WORK with a brown yellow mix!
Who was this?
Scream? WMN himselfe? any other SUperPro? :-[
Maybe the Guy can remember and give me a nice walkthrough:
"how to paint windows in brown/yellow and it still looks cool" ;)

best regards

ule

I did some brown/amber-coloured for my little Croc Ships (Uncharted Seas Orc Fleet). Very simple to do:

Paint the windows in a gem-style using a dark beige and highlighting up to a warm ivory. Then, a *very* thin wash or two of yellow ink, followed by the sharpest highlights in pure white. Looked quite good, I'll see if I can get you a pic when I get home tonight if you'd like?

For the colours, I used something like:

- P3 Cryx Bane Highlight + tiny spot of Cryx Bane Base
- P3 Cryx Bane Highlight
- P3 Cryx Bane Highlight + Increasing amounts of Menoth White Base
- Menoth White Base
- Glaze with very dilute yellow ink
- Small sharp highlight with P3 Menoth White Highlight
- Spot highlights with P3 Morrow White (or any pure white)

Love those Steelhawk models from Exodus BTW; I got a pack to do the same thing with!

Easy way: with your yellow basecoat on the window, add a small drop of gryphon sepia or devlan mud citadel wash on each window. It should reach and darken bottom part when dried. Place a small white dot on top part. Should fastly improve window rendering.

Here is a pic from my vultures when I was painting them, you could see the different colors:

Very nice. Would you be interested in volunteering any of your model pictures for a supplement in the future?
