After many years one major group of miniatures in my collection is complete.

I had planned on two opposing mech forces from the Battletech universe. I started the first force years ago. I sent the second force to be painted by the Minichop shop, http://www.theminichopshop.com.

Jjpens finished the Lyran Donegal Guards in 2008. At the beginning of this year I got off my but and finished the Davion Syrtis Fusiliers. In this rush to the finish some of already painted mechs got redone because my painting had improved over the years. My style is not up to the same level of JJpens, he is a painting Olympian after all, but hey I'm happy.

So now I have two full painted armies to bash each other to oblivion. There is a third Clan force being done by the Mini chop shop and that one may be done by the end of the year, leaving no more mechs to paint in the basement; a glorious day indeed!

I need to start that 6mm terrain project now, huh.

I have lots of pictures for you, 76 mechs. The green mechs are the Davion Syrtis Fusiliers painted by me. The Blue/Grey mechs are the Dongegal Guard painted by Jjpens.

Dont sell yourself short - I think you did a great job on the Davion Syrtis Fusiliers (love Davion!)
I really like the cockpit canopies in paticular.

Plus the old, unseen mechs. Battletech just isnt thesame without the old Rifleman, Warhammer and Archer...

that makes me want to finish my battalion of 5th sword of light. their all red and inked, just need to detail them, do their canopies much better(still trying to get that technique down) and buy about 20 dollars of kurita decals.... then i'll finish off my two companies of McCarrons that needs detaling/decals,, and start on my own davion stuff...and steiner,, ect,ect... god.. 170 non kurita mechs.... i can't die,, i have miniature's to paint... and then,, more Epic,, and then...(trails of into miniature madness)..........
