A bit delayed but here it is:

http://www.mustangsalling.dk/mechanicus.pdf

As usual a couple of images will probably be replaced, but that shouldn't keep you from looking through the rest of the book. There's a few things I'm not completely happy with regarding the Imperator titan datacard that I am going to continue to tinker with... but that single page has been causing me all sorts of headaches (how do you squeeze the information from a page more that twice as big into this format and still keep things readable? :p )

Post all erratta to this thread. Deadline for proof reading is May 1st.

Anyway: Enjoy:)

Cover, date range 2005-2006 should be an en dash not a hyphen

Use of 'degrees' vs degrees symbol in general, eg 30-degrees appears a lot but on p32 you have 45* <- with a degrees symbol

Use of paragraph first line indent in general seems odd, its huge (looks like a whole tab not a manually set indent), its being used for the first paragraph of sections.

P22 Psytitan special rules need spec. rules entries made consistent to rest of doc

P22 'Psy-Blasters -' the last hyphen there should be an en

p26 nova cannon notes table, notes need a full point at the end

p32 you've started using an en not a hyphen for your minus sign in the table in places.

dice rolls you've got hyphens not ens in the numeric ranges (eg 2-4) Look at use of hyphens vs ens in whole doc in general as you're using both inconsistently, especially in ranges and as minus signs.

A question.

On page 20 we have the reaver titan (with 4 void shields). But in it's crit table below, we see no void shield generator or similar crit table.

On page 21 and 32 we have the Warlord and Imperator (Both with more void shields that the reaver) and each of them do have critical hits that do have the potential to knock out void shield generators.

The question is, why does the Warlord and Imperator have crits that destroy void shield capacity, but the reaver does not?

Shouldn't all titans have a crit table that destroys their void/power/holo/whatever field capacity if they have it?

Sorry Ifurita, but that's not the thread to discuss on Reaver titan profile, here, it's just to proofread AM gold codex. Place your question in a new topic.

Posting from the back. Sorry for any redundancy.

Page 35: Heavy Off- Board Barrage (remove space)Off-Board

Page 31: Boxes of Titan are not perfect. Some lines are "wider" due to wrong position me thinks.

Page 30:
Quote:
All troop stands carried by the Imperator Titan may fire, during the First Fire
segment, at models attempting to board.

To me this text feels old and does not apply anymore. Now we use Snap-fire. Should be slightly rewritten... Somehow

Page 28: I would like to move the picture 1 cm to the right or/and make it 5 % smaller. Or.. Ignore what I am saying altogether.

Page 28: Black area with...
Quote:
Destroyed and crew abandons ship.
Track Hull (every unsaved hit destroys a bolter)
is to high/big

Page 27:
Quote:
5 6
misses a -

Page 25:
Quote:
Transport 60 points of stuff.
Should not have a . in the end

Page 24:
Quote:
Warhound scout Titan Template
The text is to long for the thingie underneath it. Looks terrible.

Page 24: Some of the effects is the damages are very short indeed. Maybe they were never longer. If they werent they have to be rewritten/pasted from another titan if appliable.-

Page 23: Same as above.

Page 21: Same as above.

Page 20: Same as above.

Page 20: Top box of front is not perfectly placed

Page 20: 1 2 missing a -

Page 10: Picture is not a Stormblade as far as I know. I dont see the usual missiles. Could be another variant though.

Page 8: Picture of tactical infantry should be lower.

Page 2: The picture behind the text makes it hard to read. I also feel that many with print these books in Black/white. What is that do to the readability. I dont know.

Be well and thank you for all your work.

PS: Im not a native so someone else do the grammar. (how do I get away with that every time?)

Make text font size 1 and attach magnifying glass. ;)

Minor thing but some of the truncations of text in the Imperator template boxes might not be needed e.g. Reacor when Reactor fits (or it might just be a typo ;D )

Hi - looks great so far and love all the pics - great work

i have a few comments so far - not on the detail but on some things that have always annoyed me about the AM list which would be great to fix....

Firstly the Titan defense company - This is listed as being 500 pts when three squads are only 450 - that means you are paying 50 pts for 1 tac HQ stand... normally free in most other lists like guard who get HQ, transport and a comisar for free on some companies... Means that I never take one of these and they are a redundant card as 50pts is better spent else where than on 1 stand!

Secondly in relation to the pts for a leman russ company - for the guard this cmpany costs 550 - vs 750 for a titan legion. The extra 200 pts for no command and +1 on morale is not worth it... I will always take them as allies and save 200 points. Should the cost be reduced to something like 650 which makes them a viable army selection? This also applies tot he squad card where 3 leman russ's are 250 - again vs land ra\ider which are also 250 why would I ever bother - better guns, better save and transport as well - the points seem very wrong to me and again I never take leman russes from the AM list...

One other point to note is the difference between spotters in this list and the guard list - think the spotter here is good at 50 pts but beware assaulting the guard spotter who is also as good in CC as a space marine with +2 CAF but not sure that query belongs here! think still suprised after Mr Webbs guard spotter dealt with a squad of chimeras singlehanded!

Will have a good read through the list this weekend

Titan Defense Co. - Has always been 500 but you're right, it is a bit of an "anti-discount" . It is a bigger formation which helps a little but I'd be happy for it to be 450.

LR Company - Is deliberately more expensive in part to ensure the difference between Guard and AMTL. You're supposed to take Knights :)

Coud not it be possible to add few wording about reactor damages in AM Codex ?

It took me 15 minutes to find where reactor damages description was written: not in Gold Codex , not in 5.2 Codex, not in 5.1 Codex, was in 4.1 Codex and finally managed to find in Gold Rule Book...Quite hard to find for a veteran player, maybe impossible for a new player. Maybe add a sentence somewhere in titans presentation page 12 or instead of the picture under titan classes in page 12 repeat the Reactor Damage Description (page 46 from NetEpic Gold Rule Book).

:)

Or perhaps just a line to remind people the generic damage descriptions are in the main rule book?

Great times... It is probably a copy/paste error from way back, but what a moment of glory :D.

Every player needs that one story of improbably victory that he can regale other players with over and over again!

Now, did I ever mention the time my Avatar took down a Heirophant single handedly..........

Yes, this could be interesting :) But it's sad that in the Adeptus Machenicus Book, you need to open another book to get titan reactor damage details...
