With the second edition of french Toag, I started painting my necron army for NetEpic (using Kotrin Necron codex).

I started with a destroyer company, simple conversions based on 40K plastic scarabs and Exodus War Edenites:

- 2 companies + tomb spiders on the pics, only one comp will be painted at the moment:

- a destroyer lord has been finished for painting schema/basing validation. I'll surely retouch the paint job to improve it:

- I started painting carapace on 3 destroyers (right is the first finished, left is the last painted):

Gold NMM is not easy to learn but scarab after scarab, I'm expecting to obtain better results :)

Contact Otterman on this board, he should give you some clues to get those tomb spiders.

Looking good. I like the brass color on the Destroyers.

Thanks for your feedback,

3 more "scarab" painted tonight, I hope I'll be able to paint the 10 others with the same quality.

Lovely stuff Scream.

What kind of static grass do you use on your bases?

Thanks!

@Onyx, no static grass any more :) I discovered some grass tufts on Silflor miniature train pdf catalog (2mm tall), searched during 3 hours to find a dealer in Europe and finally found a web shop in England :)
The tufts are originally made by Silflor, distributed in Europ under the "Mininatur" brand. Antenocityworkshop has some but when I wanted them, they did not have the smallest size. Tufts are available on 2 sheets size, the smallest one was enough for my wallet :)

For my necron, I use the Late Fall color.

@L4: no problem my friend :)
