Hi Guys
I finally managed to join this site thanks to help from Iain and thought I would add my own little army to the collection. I am currently working on three different armies (That may seem mad if you knew I have only played three games) but I am focusing on getting a necron army built for gaming. (I may add the other armies to this log or make new ones depending on what seems easier to navigate)
So here are my Necrons. Apologies if you have seen them on warseer already but I am going to move tha log over here.
First up are the
Necron WarriorsAt first I painted the lords cloak green but it blends in a little too much.

The later lords were given flesh cloaks a little like a flayed one. I will change the orignal lords cloak to keep in theme.

As you are probably having a hard time telling them apart and may claim I am just moving them around a little bit and rephotographing them I present the 'horde' (Almost) That is basically all the warriors done for the army. I just need to make some Pariahs and some dreaded flayed ones.

Next up are some vehicles. I wanted my machines to look a little more sentient than the regular kind so I used my own design for them (Did I say own design I mean Borg cubes). I also wanted them to look alot like Tripods from The War of the Worlds who are some of my favourite literature xenos. These are my Obolisks they are made from 1cm plastic cubes, I just got 50 more off e-bay (I could have bought 4000 for just a little more than I payed for the 50 but I wasnt going to use that many) I think I wont need more than a Dozen for the army.

I made a trial Monolith which I havent been happy with. For a start the cube is some kind of preschool counting block with rounded edges which looses the crisp look I was going for. Also on its huge legs it stands taller than a warhound titan which seems quite out of place for a regular vehicle. Should I sawm off his legs and make him shorter?

Just for some scale referance those are some marines and a rhino

Any C&C would be nice from you epic veterans, I have never painted at this scale before and was actually going into a bit of wargaming decline before I found epic but it has really captured my imagination. 6mm is an awesome (if difficult) scale to work with. I plan to spam my armies at you guys for a while to come yet!
Finally, I have been really ill recently and have not managed to do much painting at all. Just a bit of browsing the internet from bed between fits of the plague. When I finally was able to get up I found an imposter amongst my army. Usually I wouldnt post gifts from my girlfriend on forums, but as it was epic themed and it made me really smile I thought I would share it.

(I told her she needed to neaten up her highlighting at which point she pummeled me with her tiny fists.)
