I have fallen behind yet now 21 bases are done.

Basing the World Eaters - Part 1

I went for a grey edging around the bases as I would not really be able to get into these areas with the thicker textured paint.




This is the stuff I am going to use as the textured paint:

Base is painted with a thick coat:





It is then inked with Badab Black - I love Badab Black




And left to dry:





I will take some further pics when I go to highlight and clean up the base.

I am still considering whether to add dark green grass to places.

I have been buying up Khorne minis wherever I can find them.

This parcel arrived today from someone that I have bought from and has read the World Eaters Supplement

Yes, it turns out there is another WoE aficianado in our part of Texas, so the list is spreading.

Also, I will be posting pics of the completed Slaughterfiends/Defiler formation tomorrow on my thread, along with the next formation in line.

:glare:  I actually took 30 some pics today, loaded them up from my camera, they never appeared in the folder, the software deleted them off of my camera and Honda was an amusing combination of perplexed and ticked off.

Round 2 tomorrow.

I have 83 stands worth of Berserkers at the moment with potentially more coming. I do not see me using all of them so I may be up for trading them with you and Apoc in a few weeks    :agree:

Well the goal was to have enough to do a full army. A full army for me is as follows:

8 Formations of Berserkers: 64 stands
4 Formations of Chosen (both scout and wings) : 16 Stands
Blood Lord : 1 Stand
Enough models for Slaughterfiends : 2 Stands
Bloodpack: 5 Stands
Breakages and other problems: 2 stands


So that totals: 90 stands!  Far out - I did not know it was that many.  :down:

I need another 7 stands...
