Outstanding piece of Orky kit, lovely stuff, I would change the base too but I'd also take it as is, keep 'em comimg.

Warhead, I recognised Debaser, great album, but then I am a Pixie fan  :D

Thanks for the feedback!

Since the cable on the crane puts the klaw & round slightly below the plane of the base, I'm looking to keep some altitude on the gun.  Changing the length of the wire would be a bit more trouble than I want for this model.

I like the idea of a larger base with some scenic stuffs, so I thought maybe a barricaded low hill with ammo crates/munitions traktor on the back end would be fitting.

Here is my Blu-Tack sculpt of a possible basing solution with the 25mm round placed on top of a 25x40mm base.  Whatcha think?

Oooo, that looks great. I REALLY need to learn how to use plasticard.
However, you do know someone is gona' ask if that Ammo Grot is supposed to be half on half off the base. You do realise by doing it your just asking for comments about it getting damaged and such, as before.

Yep that's just the ticket, terrific!

I assume the grots won't be overhanging the base...   :oo:

After pulling my Gargants out of storage only to have them sit on a shelf and glare at me, I decided to put a little work in on the mob.

I wanted to start small and went with a revamp of my earliest Epic scratchbuild, which was heavily inspired by the picture of the Stompsmasher in WD 116.  Originally, it was built out of extra bits from my first Great Gargant model, paper, balsa, cardboard, and other odds & ends.  I plan on skinning it in p-card, replacing the Slash Attack gun with a shooty buzzsaw of sorts and adding more interesting bits to the model.

So here is where I'm at right now with re-skinning the model. Lots left to do, but it's going to be fun!
This will be a Smasha class Gargant with a Gutbuster.

C&C appreciated.

Finished up some Stompa conversions for a mob. These guys are just the first batch and I want to make some with hammers down the road.

Haha! Stompa Conkers! That is a delight. I love your work Ghudra. I'll be using that great idea if you don't mind.  :))

Fan-freaking-tastic!  I might just strip the paint from my plastic Stompas and rebuild after seeing that!

It hit 104 degrees in my workspace today, so painting is no-go for now, but I got some Orky work done while hiding inside.

The Mega-Gargant head has always looked all wrong to me and it seemed like a good target for some love.  I'm planning on moving it onto a recently acquired Great Gargant that needs TLC, so reworking the head is a good first step. :)

I'm thinking the same, this place is depressing at times, just when yopu think you're getting somewhere somebody comes along and changes things
Particularly love the open hatch on your wrecking ball stomper. That is definitly going to be 'stolen'
