I'm pretty sure having read about a "Zap Fortress" in a mysterious Ork army list. But I don't manage to get a hand on that list. Does anyone remember about a "Zap Fortress" ? It was a DC2 Fortress, with a Zap gun and a powerfield.

It was in the Orkamedies Gargant list. I cut it from the list in order to focus more on the gargant/walker aspect instead of lots of Mek toys (I cut the Trakta Kannon for the same reason). The list had a ton of Zzaps in it anyway, so the Zzap Fort didn't really have a niche.
Zzap Fortress WE 30cm 4+ armor 4+ CC 4+ FF 4 Big shootas 1 Zzap Gun DC2, 1 Power Field, Transport as Gun Fortress Critical Hit: Fortress and all passengers destroyed.
Only available as part of the Fortress Mob - 1 Fortress, 150/250/350, Zzap fort available in the Extras for 135 points.

I lobbied Tiny Tim to add the Zzap Fortress to the Speed Freeks list as part of the Wagon/Fortress pattern:
Battlewagon/Battlefort - transport Gunwagon/Gunfort - shooty Speedsta/Zzapfort - shields and MW/TK
The Freeks are pretty short on MW/TK even with the Speedstas and i thought it would be a good addition.
Tim declined.
