Cheers for the comments guys - positive comments keeps morale up, which keeps me doing work
Killerloop - I always wondered where the shells come from for titan weapons. Sure volcano cannons are powered by the reactor but everything else? Hmmmm. The forgeworld warhounds have ammo hoppers and hydrogen fuel flasks for their weapons, so I figured I'd stick some on the gatling blasters. If you're wondering, they came from the Dark Angels Ravenwing sprue (assault cannon drums - they're meant for the master of the ravenwing as they're paired, left and right, which helped alot)! I was tempted to use the imperial guard autocannon ammo drum for the quake cannon, but didn't get around to it..
Oman - yes, I am evilhomer. Definately one of the better simpsons episodes out there...
After an hour or so listening to the
total annihilation soundtrack, I managed to come up with an adeptus titanicus symbol I'm happy with (for the transfers). Heres a taster:
The sheet I've got in corel draw currently has has about 10 or so variations on this which takes up about 1/4 of a sheet of A4. I've also done a bunch of checks because I can't be bothered doing them again (I was getting sloppy on the warlord).
I think it gets harder from here on though, as I want to do a load of various "heraldic" bits I can use to individualise each titan (well, warlord/reaver), in the same way as forgeworld has done with the warp runners reaver titan (the kneepad)...
