How does that work? I thought, if they do not move, you do not get the overwatch

If the action they select includes the ability to move, they count as moved even if it's 0cm. That is how the FAQ answer is written.

I have just finished commenting on an IG V Death Guard batrep, where DG "terminators" caused havoc on first activation.

I suggested trying a Stormtrooper company with Valkyries.  They can be garrisioned round your blitz on OW.  They have scout so project a greater ZOC denial area, and can spread out enough to cover a large amount of forces.  The Valyries can be popped-up to ensure they have good LOS.  And finally, the Valkyries Disrupt rocket pods have a good chance of breaking though BMs.
