Receveid this today.
After checking everything, no miscast, almost no bubbles, and everything was in the box, wahou, I'm feeling lucky.
There's not a lot of epic (3 stormblade) and just 2 grey knight cruisers + ramilies starport, but some chaos/krieg/IG tanks goodness, and the big great unclean one which is in my opinion the best model they've ever released.

I'll work on a leman russ hunter destroyer as soon as I've finished the rhino I'm actually on :)

Very tasty.  :;):

FW have me sorely tempted with the AI Eldar flyers.... I'm just having to hold myself back from splurging cash on a big stack of em!

I'm not personally find of most of the forgeworld flyers in epic. I think they are much too big compared to the rest of the troops. I'd prefer my fighters not be competing with titans for mass even if the scales are slightly different.

The eldar ones are fine in general. Phoenix bombers are great and "tiny" for exemple.
Imperial ones are way to big for sure.

I see them as 'properly scaled'  :;):

Its the titans which are on the small side!

The forgeworld AI planes are all exactly 1/5 of their 40k 30mm scale equivilents, making them perfect 6mm scale. It's the SG ones that are wrong.

See the thunderhawk transporter as an example, it carries resin rhinos or land raiders which are a perfect scale match for the epic ones, proving it is correctly scaled.

It's the silly oversized 40k designs that are the problem, not FW's scale. The infantry > flier scale is identical in both systems.
