Simple solution - create and "Epic Undisputed" board, for all versions of Epic, and affiliate it with this forum, the Nexus and all the sites.
Have other mods come in and help run it, shut down and move members from other boards and STOP ALL THE CONFUSION!!
Cheers
Chris
PS, I think I am I member of about 4 boards like that!

I spend most of my time here and on a rare occasion, Epic Yahoo. But 2 are enough for me. I'm easy ...

Me too...I live here now.
I occaisionally browse the official EA playtest board, but havent done so regularly for about 5 months now.
I like it here... I don't have the time to go surfing all over the place so I go where I like the people and enjoy the conversations; game, historical, serious and otherwise
yes...here I shall stay.

I am a Lurker on the Netepic group, Member of the EA list, epic list and of course active member of this forum.
I hardly ever browse the playtest forum anymore, since my last bout of ill health when my playtesting stops.
I simply dont have the time to be as seriosly involved as I once was in all the epic related lists & more besides.
I do however do some very vein searching through the playtest board - after somone pointed out to me that I had been mentioned in a thread, I sometimes search for "TuffSkull" to see if my names come up again & see if I can help out with anything. So, i guess if anyone does ever want me on the board, say my nickname & I'll appear in the thread

This was my first Epic and BFG site, after I met CyberShadow on Portent. He invited me over to the old version of this place, and I've stayed here since.
I sometimes wander to the other sites, but it's a rare occasion. I usually visit when I've been directed from a link of, for example, someones pics. I'll then have a quick browse around.
I have a few different 'groups' I'm a member of, so dont have time to visit too many places. I'm glad that this place seems to be one of the best around. Not only for how well its presented (thanks C.S.) but for all the great guys that also visit here.
Thank you everyone!!!

I am on too many lists and forums to even remember, and I had to cut down recently. I read and lurk in most places, but rarely post anywhere but here.

Hi!
Pretty much what I have done. I find this forum suits me and I really lack any motivation to post elsewhere.

We are going to have a 6 player game of Epic Armageddon next week. This is an e-mail I sent out to the club members of my local gaming club Legion: ******************** Alex
Worked out that your suggestion of letting the SM players take 1 complete Company (i.e. 2 Tactical detachments, 1 Devastator detachment & 1 Assault detachment) worked out at 1025 points before character upgrades.
Therefore would suggest that we work out each of the individual armies as 1,500 points each which will allow everyone to have 1-2 different detachmenst such as Land Raiders, Whirlwinds or Bikes. That should keep everyone interested- what do you think.
So we have agreed that we will all use armies from the 3 basic amy lists in the Epic Armageddon rulebook. I think we should have 3 separate games on adjoing tables. The good guys on this occasion will be your IG plus SM played by Matt & Richard (SM figures also provided by you). The bad guys on this occasion will be me & Hanbury playing Orks and Jim (using his Chaos SM figures but using the basic SM armylist to keep things simple).
Jim has suggested that we use 2 of the 2' square tiles for each of the 3 games. All the objectives will be on the 2 tiles for your game. So you can only win the game by accomplishing your own objectives. Jowever I am sure that in true Legion style there will be a few sneaky pot shots at enemy units on the next table as everyone but Richard forgets the onjectives and blazes away at the closest target.
You know that is going to happen....
Once we have got this week out of the way we will hopefully have refreshed our grasp of basic rules and thus we can try some of the playtest army lists, such as Chaos cultists and Titan Legions.
Cheers
James ********************
So........
Anyone got any suggestions on how what else we can do to make it run smoothly? Most of us have played 3-4 of the training missions in the Epic Armageddon rulebook over the first couple of months after game was released.
However we never got more than 2-3 of club members really into Epic A. Jim was peeved that he could n't play Chaos from the beginning with an official army list and thus took him a long time to get enough painted units together. I was so busy working that I did n't have much time to put together an army. Everyone else would n't play unless Jim or I pushed them.
So we needed to do something to kickstart Epic A down at our club. I decided we needed to do something big as the little training missions, although vital to learning the rules, did n't inspire the other club members to play the game. We needed something that would grab everyones attention but still have small enough armies that we could learn rules properly.
By having 2 teams of 3 we could all take part in a large entertaining game, but each person would control a manageable force. As my Epic stuff was still mainly in boxes/blisters or needed organising into figure cases, I managed to persuade Alex to bring down some spare SM figures so that even those people without any figures could still play.
I insisted that we use only 3 basic army lists in Epic A rulebook to keep things simple. I know Jim wanted to playtest his Chaos cultists, and I wanted to playtest AMTL, but I thought that would be better to wait until we had practiced.
So any tips in advance of next Wednesday would be much appreciated
I am going to spend the next few days off over Easter frantically gluing together and painting Orks!!!
Cheers
James
