And a quick one of the first Orc test piece - It still needs basing, and warpaint adding, but I'll paint most of the army like this before starting to add any further highlights - I have the chaos models to work on too

I am still working on 40K Edlar.

In a week I have managed to paint 6 tanks, 9 jetbikes and a vyper so far.

After finishing Vyper 2 and my Autach on Jetbike I am going to do a few of the Epic miniatures.

My Warseer project log has bought a lot of attention so with the 40K progress so hopefully will expose a few more people to the beauty of Epic and BFG, for the complete hobby experience.

Finished some of my recent E/W and DRM purchases. Making them into a mid-tech desert raiding force (and I finally read my camera's manual...):

Force so far:

DRM Scouts (sorry for the blur):

Khazari buggies:

Guild Support Centuria:

Mounted Bounty Hunter (single piece to try out color scheme):

...and a few drop pods:

Kajo: Excellent paint job, the desert camo came out fantastically. Nice hex bases for the drop pods too, where did they come from? Would they fit a Hoplon?

Lord Inquisitor: Very sexy, I'm pretty tempted to ask your army out on a date. I reckon I could handle a whole unit.

Thanks, Tom! The hex bases are 3/16" thick, 1" across from Litko Aerosystems. Dunno if they'll fit a Hoplon (though from the scale pics I've seen, they should), but you can get different sizes - thickness and width - in both standard and metric. I mount all of my WWII/AIW/Modern microarmor on the same bases. Some of the larger modern tanks (Challenger I/II and M1A2) hang over the edges a bit, but the thick base makes for easy handling during play.

Added a unit of DRM Pax Arcadia Industrial Infantry to the desert force last night:

I keep thinking to myself that these guys would make excellent Harkonnen for Dune gaming (and maybe the DRM Pax Scouts as Fremen...).
