That is awesome.

By the way. What are you using as bottom for those buildings and roads (I assume the roads are selfmade)?

I mentioned some of this earlier in THIS THREAD.
The big road sections are from HERE.
I knew the local supplier and got them at a good price. There are smaller road sections that I made out of MDF to join to the CNC boards.

I made the base on my Manufactorum out of MDF to fit with the road sections.

Cheers,
Steve.

Wow I have that exact same set that you used to do the Cathedral in the center. Pegasus Hobbies right? I was looking at it last night and considered it too big for Epic scale. Guess I was wrong huh?

Did you scratch build the long roof section? And how did you make the cones and flying buttresses?

A close up of it would be appreciated. I've been trying to get my hands on an Epic Cathedral as a centerpiece model for my terrain, but this looks like a good substitute. If I could pull it off!

Malakai - Have you checked the previous page? I've got some close-up pics there and a bit more information. If you want some more photos, let me know.
The kit I used is THIS one. All the cones, butesses etc are included. All I added was the roof and details (AA guns, roof landing pad, Ad Mech symbol, pipes etc) to give it scale.

On another note, I managed to get in another intro game  (VERY basic rules) with my nephew. 2 quick games and lots of laughs. Hopefully another Epic player of the future. We finally got to use some more of the IDA 3D buildings. Great fun.

Steve.

More pics of my Ad Mech Manufactorum. It's made using the Pegasus Hobbies Gothic City Building Small Set #2...

Mate, you need to (or, rather, we need you to) immediate start building these on spec for others (like me!) to purchase. Awesome stuff!   :))

I see, so I must have another of Pegus' gothic buildings. The wall sections and the corner pillars are exactly like that one. Tell me, did you need two of the kits to build your cathedral or just one?

One last question. Would you be totally miffed if I stole your idea and did my own cathedral? I'd promise to credit you!  :;):

LOL...

I'd be very happy if anything I've done helps to inspire others. I look forward to seeing your version mate. No need to ask me for permission.

I only used 1 kit to make my Manufactorum.

GR00V3R - thanks mate. If only I had the time...
