So I got on a Epic kick the other week. Looking over all of my painting projects that i have started and abandoned over the years, I have decided to at least finish what I have started and then build up to a legal army before "oooh look. Shiny.." effect once again takes over. I find that posting my work usually keeps me more interested in a project and more likely to finish. I consider myself a so-so painter. So here it goes.

First off, I have a lot of Epic stuff. Not as much as many here, but I have a lot. Been collecting since SM times and went really crazy picking up dirt cheap Epic stuff when ebay was still young.

First off is my Dark Angels. I am just starting with them now (Orks are my first love).

Now comes my Warlord of the Morning Stars. I put him together years ago and just wanted to throw paint on him. I consider him my Mk 2.5. I have 2 more I need to paint up. Nice little Warlord Battle Group.

Excellent work!  I will say. yall are much braver than I what with freehanding all the insignia.  I plan to purchase decal sheets when it comes time for those things.

Some really nice dark angels, I'd like to see some standard Marines too. Like the titan, are they all of that box design or are the other two turtlebacks? Three of these would be a very cool unique battlegroup.

Thanks for the positive feedback all. I just finished GSing some robes on my command base and Dev Sgts, so I can paint them up.

All three are Mk 2.5. I went a little titan happy for awhile (was playing a lot of AT) so I have around 30 of the Beetlebacks (3 Imperators, tons of Gargants, Phantoms, Reavers, etc). I have 2 of the metal transition Warlords (mk 3?), so I cast up their carapace a few times to make some more unique Warlords.

Interesting fact #1. Women get a very keen sense of smell when they are pregnant.
Interesting fact #2. My wife can smell spray primer after 8 hours and a strong scented candle upstairs.

So things are going a bit slower than I hoped. I a midway through some devs, rhinos, razorbacks, Supreme Commander stand, and a dread. I had hoped to get more, but I find I am not allowed to spray in the house anymore... on pain of death.

So while painting the above up, I finished off some Ork things that have been sitting around half finished for a number of years.

Some Dreads

My stompas. I have a few more Bad Moon ones that need finishing still.

Da supa stompa. A re-purposed Mekboy gargant.

That Super Stompa is very nice. Where did you get the shoulder gun from (Mekboy Kustom Kannon thingy) is it from a 40K Ork Dread/Killer Kan or one of the boyz. Whatever it is it works a treat. Great paint job too.

Perfect, then that's what I'll be getting for some of my own Gargants. Cheers, silentBob.
