Since this periodically comes up I thought a quick summary of the clubs playing the typical games covered on Tac-Com would be neat.

Note I'm not after a comprehensive list of clubs - other websites do that. Or individual players as that is covered elsewhere. Instead clubs that always or often play Epic and BFG.

So, to start off with the clubs I know.

UK
Central London Wargamers - In central London on Tuesday night and is free. Has a variable number of Epic gamers (who also no doubt have BFG stuff).

Cross Gaming Club - Also Tuesday night in Central London. I prefer the CLWC above as the cross club costs £3-5 pounds to play in and is quite small. Conversely they have textured boards and nice terrain and more GW gamers of which a fair few produce the good looking models you see on these forums!

Euston club - Wednesday night in Central London. Used to play a lot of Epic, especially when I was there. No idea what they do now. Also free.

I game a Games Workshop Wood Green on a Wednesday, price is free, terrain is okay (It's mostly mine, heh). The place is open until 10/11pm on a Wednesday, and the kids are kicked out around 5:30.

Dont forget Legion games club in West London, Shepherds Bush on Wednesdays. Although I no longer go since I moved up to Leeds, Jim aka fairoaks024 goes regularly, and Gavin aka Ginger has also been down a few times.

Legion plays a variety of GW and non GW games including WFB, Dark Heresy RPG and Epic. Jim has Epic Chaos (both Black Legion and L&TD) with several other players playing Imperial Guard and Orks. A couple of players did have BFG.

Cheers

James

Well, it's not a club per se, but All About Games, in Boise, Idaho (apologies to the Brit contingent, but anyone in the US can find us pretty easy) has open gaming 7 days a week.  No cost to use the tables, either.

They carry 40k, Fantasy, Flames of War, Warmachine/Hordes, and Heavy Gear, along with some Confrontation, pretty much the entire Reaper line, Infinity, and Anima Tactics.  If the game is still in production, they'll order it for you.
