Hi,
Thanks everybody :)

I'm working on the PK/lifta droppa arm. The first trial look wierd and unnatural, so I cut it and fixed for a second try which I think look better.

The first try:

The second fixed arm:

I added some armor plates:

And some rivets:

Now I have to think what to do with it next, I thought of adding some cylinders, but am not sure. Something needs to be added to the front of the sholder box, but what?

Thanks for watching,
Eyal.

Very good so far. The only thing I don't really like are the tracks, not their quality or look, but tracks are for mega gargants, great gargants have big feets, but that's personnal.
My favourite part is the big arm with pincer. I'd come back to see the belly gun and the rest :D

Thanks everyone,
I was under the impression that I can't enter models that have been exposed in the forum?
I hope I can enter it but sharing the work with you is best with me  :D .

Shoulder cannon is a definite possibility, thanks for that.
I'm also thinking of adding cylinders to the side of the arm, but am not sure of it yet.

Regarding tracks VS legs, to be honset this gargant started with me slapping some tracks together, next it became a gargant. But I think the orks wouldn't mind if there are tracks of legs

Thanks for watching, and I 'll be happy to hear your feedback,
Eyal.

Hi,
I've detailed the klaw a bit more, I have a lack of round tubings, so I've ordered some today, I hope they'll be here quick so I can add some round details to the gargant, especially on some of the body parts and the back side.

The klaw has some more bits, I think I'll add more rivets to it.

Started to add details to the body, I really have difficulties to place interesting bits as I don't have any. I have lots of spares from models, but they are 1:35 or 1:72, and too big. I hope that when I get the round tubings I can be more creative, meanwhile probably best to go over the blogs here and get some ideas..

Back side started to look in shape:

And finally some shooty bits, the shoulder cannons:

And for some scale:

Thanks, and hope to hear your ideas and feedback,
Eyal.

Awesome stuff Brax.  Did you use a pounce wheel for the rivet strips?

Hi,
Thanks :),
Unfortunately I only ordered one today, I riveted with a sharp end twizzers and a ruler. Very not recommended, I hope the rivet tool will be better

That's testament to a great modeler then, or at least one with a lost of patience.  :p  Great job. I have heard of these too:

Haven't gotten them yet, but they are like 3d decals.

Awesome work.

I wanted to ask; were the tracks scrath built, or did they come from some model.

thanks

Hi guys,
thank you very much :),
Dave I think it is more a matter of patience, but for the cost of the tool it is better to buy it, my hand hurts after all those rivets  :_(

Commisar they were scratchbuilt, actually not taht difficult:
1. cut 12 pieces of thick tube and glue a suqre of sheet to each end to make it a cylinder. then after the glue dries, cut around the edges with scissors, so you have now 12 cylinders which will be the road wheels.

2. make the chassis box, and glue the road wheels to it, let it dry.

3. cut two long strips of very thin sheet, and glue them around the wheels, this will be the basis for the tracks.

4. now to do the track links, just cut pieces or plasticard rod and put on the tracks.

Best to use Tamiya's liquid cement for this as it is very strong for the plasticard, and I also have a small chopper to cut lots of equal size pieces.

I will be happy to provide more info,

Eyal

Argh! Your exceptional scratch building and plasticard skills make me feel bad that I have to use a computer to make models.
