Thanks, Tiny Tim. Always good to get some feedback from forum members.

You could set yourself a speed-painting challenge and post the results

That errant little thought had crossed my mind and was quickly put in the naughty corner for making my all the other thoughts scared.

I have told myself to get it done in two weeks (Yeah, right!) I spent all last night cutting and sticking (my hands, fingers, the carpet) four penitent engines (no where near as cool as justinel's) but I used what I had. I also glued a company of seraphim (Transsexual IG Johnny Rocket pants Jetpack company) and some very basic (stretch your imagination to breaking point) Exorcist rocket launchers and a detachment of loudhailer vehicles. I plan on using Eldar banner bearers for Sister Repentia with swords from somewhere (I'm too cheap to use existing model parts)
As for the Cultists (Oh, yeah. Chaos v IG/SOB with a twist). I have a full Fanatic Cabal/Coven (whatever a company is called) due to both Dave and your good self and three Beastman Companies/Warbands who will be playing as mutants, one partly painted Monster Horde of Trolls and Minotaurs and some Ogryns as Big Mutants. All to be based and painted. John (The resident Chaos player) could care less about painting as he is very busy. While I am one of the unwashed masses and have nothing to do all day but play houses since I am currently off long term sick so have the time. If I can I'll get some of John's stuff painted or at least based, too.
On the plus side I have a magnificently painted Shopping Trolley of Khorne (Lord of Battles) that I got off eBay and I have worked out most of the rules for the engagement.

Well Zap, there is no going back now... I posted my SOB minis and have had some very kind encouragement. Now I have to deliver in two weeks. Oh great, I think my ego is trying to kill my id or at least my fingers.

Hi Primarch,

Oh, I thought it was only illustrations you needed? Duh, one day I'll have to learn to slow down and read stuff. I suffer excited puppy syndrome sometimes.

I can't say the end result will be much use but your welcome to whatever I manage. Let me know if you want the pictures after you have seen them. If their good enough I would be honoured to provide them for NetEpic Gold.

Oh, nearly forgot. How long do I have?

Cor, talk about pressure. No chance I can just take it all back then? I had better win the next battle report is all I can say!..

Hi!

If you can get them to me at some point in September that would be good.

Smelling blood the Imperials pile on the artillery on the Gargant but to no avail. The Orks return fire but despite their willingness they just can't seem to hit anything. The Orks luck stays true to form when a Squadron of Exterminator Tanks focus their shots on one Megasquiggoth mortally wounding it and sending it into a frenzied Rampage. It crashes back into another Megasquiggoth and stomps it to death before it too dies of it's wounds.

One question Warhead: Are these miniatures supposed to be Mega-Squiggoths or regular Squiggoths? I ordered the Gargantuan Squiggoth from Forgeworld (http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/esquig.htm) and thought it'd be the Mega-Squiggoth - and the ones on the picture would be the "new" Squiggoth miniatures from GW? :oo:

Sorry currsed, did not mean to cause confusion. As you must already have worked out I kind of do my own thing with some of the units.

What you see there are the E40K Squiggoths. However, I have the old SM2 Squiggoths that are teeny tinny in comparison.  :oo:  What to do?!.

Solution!.. Teeny Tinny SM2 Squiggoths remain Squiggoths. E40K Squiggoths become MY MegaSquiggoths.
Then if I like I can buy Forge World or Specialist Games Gargantuan.. whatever they are calling those big Feral things now and pass them off as something even bigger and give them stats making even more confusion... Bwah-ha,ha!
