I have a very large Ork fleet already. I am also guilty of influencing others to get into Orks. Not everyone likes the 'face' or 'fish head' look, and used filler putty to get a different look for their ships. I think that your design is cool. But honestly, I think they could be used in just about anybody's fleet. The only way it would immediately be recognizable as Ork, would be similar to the last color picture. I don't think GW wants anything even close for sale out there. So my original observation: Maybe anybody's fleet is a Okay way to go.
To sell thousands, you will need a way for many thousands to see your line. A major distributor to carry and 'get out' the word, and product is the best way. I daresay you know of some of those. When I was selling one of my works, I kept telling myself "the worst thing they can do is say no." So when they did say no, there was less sting in the rejection. So don't hesitate to 'hit up' every one of the distributors you can, hell, they might say "yes"!
I would hope you would have several sized variations to choose from. I rarely use my "Revenge" Ork battleships as such. I normally use them as "Hammer" class battlecruisers, as originally set up. The fluff says that the battleship was just a built up "Hammer". I would love to see a battleship along the lines of a cross-built Imperial/Chaos hull and obvious Orky 'fitting out' come available.
Even after all that, I for one am always looking for new additions to all my fleets (I have three).
Keep on! I think you may have something there!

I wasn't planning on showing them to GW, and yes they could be used for any fleet if you want to, that is the whole idea. I won't release them as "Ork ships" not only due to IP reasons but also due to the fact that certain players don't like Orks or don't even play BFG but another space ship game.
First will be the "cruiser" sized hull with various stuff. If that kind of works out I'll try to work on escort sized stuff which will follow the same principle as the cruiser: a basic hull with various bits and bites to turn them into different types of escorts but also to make them all look somewhat unique.
It is quite a clean design - too clean for Orks?
Also personally I am not a fan of the gun decks, I prefer stuff coming out of the superstructure. Fine for attack craft though!
