what scale are they?

I use fast play grande armee with my 6mm stuff or polemos from baccus.

1 would say you have more than enough infantry and cavalry you may need some more cannons though.

cheers steve.

it all depends on the rules used, personally i have 12 guns for my french at present, not many but each cannon model represents a battery of 4,

Google Grande armee, or polemos, on the grande armee site there are historical orders of battle, so you will be able to get a rough idea of how many you will need.

Nine guns should be fine for a decent game i reckon.
cheers steve

Finally with 6mm, in historical is it 1:1 or 1:10 or even 1:100

It all depends on what rules you use.
In grande armee, and polemos each base represents a brigade of troops, ie 2-3 battalions (1500-2000 men!)

This way you can fight really big battles, made up ones or historical.  Other rules have different ratios but im not sure what they are,(it can get very complicated, so i dont bother with it).

cheers
steve

How does polemos play? If I ever get drawn into Napoleonics I think 6mm from Baccus is the way I'd go.
