Hi!
Playing a game is a rare occurrence, for me too ...
|
Is because of lack of time or opponents?

Both for me, although Cybershadow lives close by, so we will have to have an Epic:A 'Battle of the webmasters' soon . I just need to get an army sorted out - mine is all packed.
At the moment I am frantically painting VOID - as a legionaire I have to paint an army a month and play it at least once a month, means I have LOADS of painting to do, but I get to keep all the models, which is kinda cool .

Lack of time and there are only 2-3 other guys "in these parts", that play Epic. My standard gaming and rules buddy (whom I've known since high school, '72-'75), we just can't find the time to set aside 4-6 hrs on a day off ...

I too bow down to the sheer amount of Epic you have Primarch. I had a quick count up the other day and I actually scraped past your total for the SM's (I have about 27,000pts, you had just over 25,000) But that was the old total on Epic40k.com, so you probably have more now!
As for playing, there is a couple of guys in my local store who play Epic every Friday night, so as soon as I have painted a decent amount I am going to go get a game.
Cheers
Chris

I know the feeling. Even when I had the opponents, time was hard to come by. Even when you do have the time, you want to just rest from work...

SM are next on my list for an upgrade of about 75k, so enjoy the advantage while you can!
Glad to see your getting in a lot of epic games, I sometimes wish I was back retailing, to play almost everyday.
Ah, memories...

Ah, memories... | I survived University (finacially) working at a mate's model and wargaming shop. It wasnt like work at all...War Movies on the video, always modelling and painting for shop projects, demo games of all types.
I didnt earn much, and after I had enough $ in my pocket to see out the month, I took the rest of my pay home in lead miniatures
Those were the days....

There was a time when we were gaming every weekend ! Now, I'm just glad to get everything done that has to be done, on my days off and "chill-out" ...

Hi!
Yes, that's my experience, but as I got older, I have little time and even less $ !
|
Ah yes, while you make more money as an adult, you also have more expenses. The pitfalls of adulthood.

Life revolves around making more $ and finding time to spend it ! But I'm a failure at both ...

Q: What's the difference between childhood and adulthood? A: Children have time to play but no money to buy toys. Adults have money but no time to play with their toys...
