I've pushed an update to the Krieg army list to reflect Jervis' decision regarding the Demolisher cannon, and taken the opportunity to undertake some minor balance tweaks at the same time:

Latest Version : Version 1.02

Version 1.02:

- Demolisher reverts to FF3+
- All Demolisher Cannons revert to original (ap3+ / at4+) stat.
- Medusa platforms increase from 200 to 225pts.
- Points costs for Leman Russ taken from the Minervan tank  legion army list.
- SHT's gain fire arcs on minor weapon systems.

I like the list and we'll definately be using this list into the future (haven't put up batreps because my opponents are still learning).

Thanks again for doing all this E&C... great stuff mate.

I've just skimmed through the stats and the shadowsword doesn't have restricted arcs on its secondary weapons.  Apart from that it looks good, and like another army I am going to have to collect.

Good that it doesn't! Restricted arcs on such minor weapons aren't needed!

However, if I read the list and E&C's post right, the other SHTs do have restrictions on such weapons.

The published rulebook ones don't however.

I put the restricted arcs in because IIRC they were in Neal's proposed 'upgunned' Baneblade stats, and I saw no reason to go against them.

I'm personally ambivilent on whether the secondary weapons get arcs or not.

I detest fiddly stuff in 6mm. Fire arcs for a main weapon fine, but anything else no way (I feel the same about Slow Fire weapons as well).

Well TRC, as it's your call, I'll be dropping the arcs. :D

No arcs on non-main weapons? So why has the Thunderhawk firing arcs on the twin heavy bolters? :) Only because it is an aircraft?

Aircraft need their arcs for interception more than ground units, which can position nearly free after movement.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone tried a horde-o-rough riders army?  I was looking at that and thinking about a bunch of companies, a few might have Hellhounds attached for BMs and a bit of FF, with arty support (and a couple Hydras w/ Trojans so they can provide AA and make a run for objectives if needed).  Maybe a Reg HQ in trenches to protect the arty and give SC reroll.

It seems like you could rack up an awful lot of effective assault formations with plenty of arty to prep.

BTW, that's not intended as criticism in any way, just a question.  The project is pretty nifty in my book.

I tried a RR army but only once in a 2000pt game, it lost horribly. :)

I'd love to see someone try and break the list in that manner!

Trojans

That reminds me I meant to drop their speed considerably.
