I believe it'd be practically impossible.
On the other hand... I do have access to a vacuum chamber these days... if ever there was a project that required one, it's this.

That thing is utterly fantastic! Really awesome sculpting...
It could be sprued up for metal casting relatively easily, but obviously it would cost you about ?40 for the mould, and you might run into IP problems - sculpted that well, there's no way you could pretend it's something else!

Utterly fantastic yet again Drassanar! 
For metal casting: How about contacting the guy who does DRM and EW's casting? If it is possible to cast these things at all then I believe he'd be the guy to ask. However to make metal casts the miniatures need to be 100% miliput or greenstuff AFAIK. Any plastic parts will not survive the mould making proces and destroy both miniature and mould. Resin casting is somewhat safer in that respect.

Yes, I believe we already touched upon this point a few years ago. That would indeed be a problem, since all of my sculpts include plastic, and in fairly large amounts, since it makes excellent armatures at this scale, as well as being perfect for stuff such as swords, claws, many smaller items and weapons etc...( and hands - if you want truly detailed hands (that is with fingers) at this scale, go with plastic ? ).
However, I heard that there's always the option of creating a secondary resin master from a primary putty/plastic master and using the former to create the mold for metal-casting. Do those of you with casting experience agree that this is an option, or would that entail unbearable loss of detail at this scale?
PS: Do you feel like sculpting an Epic scale Ravener.
Sure, I would love to. But unfortunately I'm still pretty busy with my studies and will be leaving Germany (my home country) next week to study abroad again. And I'm afraid I'll not be taking any sculpting supplies with me...
If the challenge still stands in about a year, I'll do it, though ? . From the pictures I've seen, a Ravener ought to be easier than the 'stealer, I think.

As long as you have access to a vacuum chamber, this is the way it's done.
It's how GW themselves make their masters for metal casting in fact.

The mouldmakers I've been dealing with (Griffin - they're very good) will make vulcanisable heat resistant resin masters from whatever models you supply, and then make a production mould for metal casting. So you can make originals from whatever you want, but it will cost a bit more to go to production.

Sorry, Otter, the models I'm doing at the moment are (expensive!) 90mm historical stuff for the painting / collecting crowd - just trying to make some money, so's I can do some wargaming stuff with the profits. Still can't decide what wargaming stuff to make though....
