The thread on creating a new line of minis got me thinking... Are there any 54mm science fiction warband games out there, not including Inquisitor?

Just out of curiosity... I wont actually be buying any... well, maybe...  :confuse:

I don't know of any; I know there's a lot of historical models available, and a number of SF and fantasy ones too, but I haven't come across any rules sets. Apparently Fantasy Flight Games will be releasing Mutant Chronicles soon, which is 54mm. No idea if it's any good, though!

Weirdly, most of the Inquisitor players I know use 40K minis to play...

Not too weird - cheaper, and a much wider range, and easier to convert, and easier to store, and you can used smaller scenery and table sizes, and you can use 40K scenery.....  :D  :D

Pity though, I like Inq (I think - never played it  :p )
Some day I'llget that sole tech-priest (obviously) I own done.

As for others - all I've seen are historical modls, nothing else.

Do you have links for the 54mm sci fi and fantasy minis, and any info on Mutant Chronicals?

If the minis are good, with a nice range, I can use almost any rules - I am thinking of Star Mogul, or Confrontation - and double distances.

Thanks.

I don't have the links available right now- I found most of them through the painting and Modelling section on Conclave:
http://www.specialist-games.com/inquisi....UM_ID=6

People regularly post links to new minis that they use for Inquisitor. If I dig up any info, I'll post it here.

One more thing, most of the time Inquisitor figures and 54mm figures don't mix - the Inq stuff is actually larger than 54mm.

Reaver
