Hey, how did you make the conical section from raw plastic? Whittle down a rod?

I just sharpened a piece of plastic rod in an electric pencil sharpener.

The work you've done with plasti-card is great.  Any secrets that you can share to getting pieces similar, edges clean and angles so nice?

I also had just one quick question about basing large vehicles.  I normally do not base my tanks and other vehicles, but I am about to paint my ordinatus(sp?) and I am not sure if I should do them with a base or just the machine by iteslf.  Thanks for any input.

Great work!

I'm not basing my ordinatus myself, don't think it needs it if you are not basing your other tanks etc.
