I have zero problem allowing multi-lasers or lascannons.  While I agree that WYSIWYG is very important, I have no problem with mixed weapon formations.

Considering that the speed 20cm Sentinel is not that much faster than INF, shouldn't packs of 2 be allowed to be added to INF and Sentinel formations to bulk them out and lend support?

A Sentinel uprgade of 3 Sentinels would be cool. In the same way as Tank Squadrons etc are added to a company.

The reason I lobby for the upgrade is for the older models in addition to the fact that I think more opposition would be had if we attempted to eschew the multi-laser variant altogether.

I'm keen to see a lascannon option there since thats WYSIWYG.

I also like the option of 3 as an upgrade. While i would be happy with det size of 3-9 (1-3 sqn), all IG choices are fixed no. if IRC? Therefore 4 is fine.

I think that lascannons are slightly better however I don't know if they're good enough to justify paying points for them.

Although I like the idea of lascannon sentinels I don't have a problem with the current rules.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I'm against any changes on the Sentinels. They should stay as they are, I don't see a need for changes.

I voted for the free lascannon option. Also only LC could be better for balancing (like Hena wrote).

The size is fine as it is. It's a cheap activation. I'm not sure if bigger multilaser sentinel formations would be played, because you stil have Rough Riders (size of six, 150pts) and Storm Troopers (size of eight, 200pts) as other cheap scout options.

As company upgrade 3 Sentinels for 75 or perhaps 50 (if it keeps with multilaser) would be nice.

I voted for no change as Sentinel formation is already cheap good activation and 2 different kind of weapons for a unit of this side is un-needed complexity. If you want to change the main weapon for all units that is okay for me..

I think that _there is nothing wrong with sentinels_. So every change would be either unnecessary or bad. If you want lasercannon sentinels, make fan list. That Big Books IG list could be renamed to Imperial Guard, not Steel Legion.
