Just Microsoft picture...  The biggest issue was cutting the picture size down below the quota for the board.

Yeah, trolls have an excess of personality..  I kinda bonded with them while painting.

After watching HBO's Excellent Series "ROME" weekly for 3 seasons, remembering the "Cursed Legion" thread and having flashbacks of my Roman Ancestors ... I "Amazon'd" 2 Drake Books, "Ranks of Bronze" and "Foreign Legions" ... A Roman Legion (IIRC, one of Crassus's Legions captured at Carrhae, June 53 BC.)  abducted by aliens, and sent to fight battles throughout the Galaxy, is the general theme. Like "Hammer's Slammers" melded with "ROME" ... Two of my favorite things !  I got both books for ?s !  Post was more than the books !     And from the reviews, Drake gives good historical insights on Roman Tactics, Society, etc. ... So War, Sci-fi and History ... pretty much that works for me ! :)

I decided to make a carry case for for my Mega Dred. At first it was going to be just a sturdy plastic box with Orky Glyphz on it... but as I built it I decided it would be pretty cool if the box itself could be used as a gaming peice.
So with that in mind I make it into an Ork Bunka type stronghold.
The Dred can be placed inside, held in place with magnetz. The shoulder weaponz are placed with the Dred... also held firmly in place with magnetz.. so theres no need for protective padding. The rest of the weaponz are placed in the removeable top section.

Nice work, may have to see if I can do something similar with some models I have that are too large to fit in my usual transports.

Assembling and prepping 4 FW T Birds and 2 Marauders
A lot of work, some of those moulds are getting slightly ropey  :(
Still waiting for the Lightnings, strange craft to run out of.
