With GW big campaign now in full swing are any of you guys taking part or even interested?

I'm hoping to dust off my BFG forces and play a few games over the next week & half, culminating in a big Imperial/Eldar v Chaos/Ork game.

I would also be excited by a WFB campaign (looking forward to the Storm of Chaos), but the background work seems much better than say the Albion one.

St. Josmane's Hope being blown up by the Imperials to deny Chaos a foothold in the Cadian system was unexpected and a nice twist.

I just got to hope for an Imperial victory. Be nice for the (uncorrupted) humans to actually be on the offensive for a change and a Crusade into the Eye of Terror sounds like fun.

Jackhammer,

I haven't been following the EoT colour background that much, but I'm sure you could find some players if you look hard enough.

There is a Player Finder Database on the web site protion of the site. Check it out.

You might also want to mention where you live so anyone reading this thread will know where you are and offer to join you if they're nearby.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

I'm not after opponents, already got one lined up. More interested to hear everyone's feelings on the campaign itself.

I've got a passing interest myself, while those at the other two forums I frequent are at either end of the spectrum.

The WPS 40K forum doesn't seem to care, while Portent has a dedicated forum that's full of grand strategies, rumours and boasts of victory.

It's harder to gauge how everyone feels here as the BFG posts seem to have dried up a bit lately.

The BFG things ara little quiet. Try PM'ing CyberShadow who is a big BFG player. Signius is as well. Most of us are probably more Epic players at heart.

I'm not too interested myself (not a big fan of chaos), but I do have a mild interest.

I'm sure that they're some interested parties here. Keep posting and they'll surface for you.

They come and go in spurts.

I've had only a single BFG game for EOT - played the week 1 scenario and had an enjoyable Imperial win against the forces of darkness. Sadly work constraint prevents me from playing more at the moment.

I'm following the campaign, but not as much as I had hoped to initially.

The Gothic Mailing list has discussed this, and there is some support for the campaign. The only real issue is that the large 3000 point games count just as much as a small 500 point raid, when it comes to results. Some guys are suggesting posting a result for EVERY 1500 points of ships played.

Generally, yes, people are sending in their Gothic reports for EoT.
