The blokes to your left are new. ?:D

Oooo. I like those. Do not know a lot about that line, but I have liked a lot of what I have seen.

Good Job!

Thanks guys - Dafrca, yes, it is a good feeling - no if only I could do the same with my 40-gobbo unit for 40K.... :p

And the Confrontation niniatures are - well - you don;t have to be good at painting - they seem to just paint themselves up well! :D Very nice, and a very wide and varying range for all sorts of tastes.  :D

Right, I've swung into my Weird Mood for modelling. I have three Swing-Moods, by the way:
Manic depressive - good grief, I'll never get those painted before I die :(
Efficient - full steam ahead and get those Orks DONE
Weird - why not make a giant Squictapus for marine feral Orks? :p

This latest weird outbreak has me painting a - well, I'll tell you about it if I ever get it done. But I also realised (in transition between the manic depressive and the weird moods) that my approach to which models to paint is utterly random. She's sitting on the left computer speaker at the moment (the cat; one of them is called Random). :blues: Ok, enough strangeness. On to business:

Since it's a random process, I've made a spreadsheet listing all my armies EXCEPT WHFB and 40k (which always seem to get on, in the vague hope I manage to take part in the next tourney). I added a random number generator, and gave a number to each army. Every Friday evening will be lottery time: I get to roll a random number, and have to complete a model of the selected game + race by the next weekend.
Poor timing, though - I'll be away as from today week, for a whole week. But for this week we get (roll) an 11!
This translates as.....

....suspense......

....BFG Eldar!

For which I have a 'stub' fleet of 3 ships. This will help productivity.... not! Ah well - the gods of probability and Random (cat) have chosen. BFG Eldar it is!

OK, I posted some photos of the stuff I assembled on my "Glue Party Day" over in the 15mm Area.

Hope you will enjoy. Keep in mind, it is just assembled and not painted yet so do not expect much. :;):

Nice work, Dafrca. As for the difference engine business, here is the first outcome, the Eldar ship. A strange item, for it wasn't originally painted by me. Part of a trade with Justiniel, the colours are his work - a very nice scheme which I couldn't alter. I just added the shading on the sails and the drybrush.
As I've not done much on this, I'm building another Eldar ship for my randomly-selected quota. And I have 7, not 3 Eldar ships - this escort, 2 cruisers, and four escort conversions, two of which I'd entered in last year's Gothicomp.
So here's the Cicada - thanks for the paint job, Justiniel. ?:D
