For the first time in ages, I actually managed to complete a unit, rather than the odd model. Ok, a very small unit - 5 40K DE Mandrakes. And I used the former owner's undercoat and basecoat and metal on the weapons.... :( :p - but the colours (L4 will NOT be too pleased) and the wash and drybrush are mine. Here they are - er, wait, have to take a picture first... :p

Take your victories where you can find them.

Look forward to seeing a photo.

I remembered that the weekend of May 6th and 7th actually is good for me. My wife is going away that weekend. ? So, I should be able to dedicate a decent amount of time to binge on Epic. ?

Strangely enough, so is my wife! ?Sadly, that leaves it to me to take care of the children. ?We're bundling them off to her parents on the 3rd, however, so my binge will be Wednesday and Thursday (and maybe Friday) nights.

Fortunately, my stepdaughters are older, so I don't need to worry about watching them. As a matter of fact, they're at that age where they would prefer that I didn't watch over them!  :D

I have a 'free' weekend next weekend, as my girlfriend has been rota-d on to work Saturday & Sunday.  But seeing as I don't work during the week (apart from uni stuff), I guess pretty much every week-day counts as 'free' for me... :D

As much as I'm looking forward to finishing uni, I'll miss the free time for painting & converting!

Well I think you guys should agree to have a wild and crazy Special Project weekend. Do lots of cool things and then post pictures etc.

Something different. Remember the Confrontation models I posted some time back? Here they are again, with a newly-finished pair of friends. The blokes to your left are new.  :D

Well Done. Nice to finish a whole unit at once.

Keep up the good work!
