I'm not a big fan of the Ogre miniatures line but the AT-ST's more than make up for that :;):  -And I agree: They do make much nicer knights than the GW figures. Much more in line with what I think a Knight should look like.

I have some of the Smaller Micro Machines AT-ATs that are surplus to my collection if you're interested in some.

Ohhh - I am if Marco passes!!!!!
I want to VSF-ify one for the French Army - The world's first steam powered Assault Walker!
And it can run away from combat - handy for the French

I bought four and Target had them for only $3.99 USD each...

Curses!

Once again we appear to get slammed with an unrealistic US to Canadian exchange rate on fun stuff!

Ah well...if they we're GW figs I'm sure they'd be five times the price or more of Hasbro's MSRP so I guess I can't complain too loudly.

Hi Markco,

Some cool pics in this post - I've got some of those AT-ATs I want another two though.

*** Which ones do you want? ***

Ralph AKA L-4 has two different types pictured:

- Smaller Micro Machines AT-ATs

and...

- Larger AMT / ERTL model kit AT-ATs

I have some of the Smaller Micro Machines AT-ATs that are surplus to my collection if you're interested in some.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

HI Maksim - thanks for the offer, but unfortunately it is indeed the larger variety that I want some more of!

Looks like Tas might be interested in those little ones though...

Thanks again, Boyz ! M/S is correct on where those models come from ! :;):  And I like the M/Mach as Knights ... as I said, all the Knights G/W did just sucked !  The SM1 versions were horrid ! And the SM2 not much better IMO ! :;):  Only the plastic Knights from TL I kept and converted to Chaos(see my posted pics).  They looked Chaotic and Chaos lacked vehicles anyway !  And that is why my ORGEs went to my Cultist IG/PDF, based on SM1 Chaos TO&Es ... :D

These ones?  Really?
I dunno.  I kind of like them - they fit the background of ancient, ornate 40K tech and knight worlds, more so than (if you'll excuse me) 'big sentinels'.  Except for lancer 2.  Even I don't like that one.
But I digress.

I hope you'll excuse me again when I say I don't have a clue what the ogres are or where they're from.  They are nicely done, though.

I agree. I really like the AT era knights. I like the TL era knights, too, but I think the original ones were better.

I don't know about the OGRE models, but I know the rules for the original game have been around for at least 25 years.

I like the first two of those SM1 Paladins... in fact I'm using the Second one as a Senechal in my AMTL army (or, when I've made half-a-dozen other armies that need doing... ??? )

Of course.  I didn't mean to imply that my post was anything but opinion. :)  Sorry if it seemed that way.

I'd be very interested in the link, thanks!  Email coming soon.

Firestorm: I'm thinking along the same lines.  Also, hopefully I can cure some of the plastic paladins of their monopose.  I think they would look a lot better with a little repositioning. ;)
