When i have a squad ram, how do you decide damage? for example, i have a squad of 4 ork brute ram ships that ram an imperial cruiser abeam to them. Since they are a squad i roll 4d6 once and then multiply by the number of ships in the squad to decide hits... but how are hits decided against them? as the squad as a whole? 4d6 vs the entire squad... or 4d6 vs each ship?

First of all welcome on board!
In BFG you resolve these actions on a ship by ship base. Thus in your case every ship ramming action would be resolved seperat from eachother.
