I'm in the process of collecting a Tau army. Could some of the Tau folks take a look over this list and let me know what their thoughts are on it? Thanks!

I actually have a Manta on the way from a bid I won. However, I felt that an 850pt formation is a touch too high for a 3000pt list.

wouldn't it be safer to have just one BTS formation.
On the manta in a 3000 point list,it is viable as it can be used to stop your opponent from claiming upto 3 of their goals(depending on your placement of objectives).

Good point.
Units of such size and cost should be reserved for larger sized forces.

THanks for your input guys. With the new 4.2 list out now and some calculation errors in the list (two formations being BTS) I feel that there is a good deal of work to be done before I have something that would be a viable list. Thank you all for taking the time to look at this draft.
