Hi Another army for you to laugh at (and then hopefully give C+C and tactics) EpicUK Latd (current 2013 version) Coven with 6 land transporters, 1 hydra and Arch heretic= 310pts (Khorne) Lord of Battle= 400pts (BTS) Coven with 6 land transporters, 1 hydra= 310pts (undivided) Hellcannons= 200pts Coven with 6 land transporters and 1 hydra= 310pts (Nurgle) Thunderbolt flight= 175pts Coven with 6 land transports = 260pts (Khorne) Deamon engine unit(khorne)= 300pts Coven with 1 land transporter, 1 hydra and 2 griffons= 330pts (Nurgle) Leman russ detachment= 400pts =2995pts 10 activations what do people think? Revised list: Coven with 6 land transporters, 1 hydra and Arch heretic= 310pts (Khorne) Lord of Battle= 400pts Coven with 7 land transporters,1 extra cultist stand, 1 hydra, 3 chaos hound stands and a deamon prince= 415pts (undivided)(BTS) Hellcannons= 200pts Coven with 6 land transporters = 260pts (Nurgle) Thunderbolt flight= 175pts Coven with 6 land transports = 260pts (Khorne) Deamon engine unit(khorne)= 300pts Coven with 1 hydra and 3 hounds of chaos stands= 280pts (Nurgle) Leman russ detachment= 400pts =2995pts 10 activations what do people think? thanks Alex |

I like it. One thing that the LatD have problems with is artillery. Either the enemy has lots or the LatD have none. If you can I'd try and fit in a formation of Contagion Engines or Basilicks. I also new leave home without at least one formation of Plague Zombies. They are great for either slowing up your opponent or attacking someing on his back line. This was aptly proved at the Campaign Weekend. |

What would you drop or change to get in a unit of zombies or basilisks? are the thunder bolts going to be effective or should i change them for the zombies? thanks Alex |

Thunderbolts and Hydras give you a bit of protection against Air Assaults so I'd keep them in. I would normally sacrifice the LoB or LR Tanks for some Artillery or Zombies. Another thing to remember is that the Daemonic Pact is currently free so I'd load up on these and some Lesser Daemons. |

If i dropped the leman russ detachment and the chaos hounds on the blitz deffence coven i could get an artillery battery and 3 griffons for the blitz deffence. something like this: Coven with 6 land transporters, 1 hydra and Arch heretic= 310pts (Khorne) Lord of Battle= 400pts Coven with 7 land transporters,1 extra cultist stand, 1 hydra, 3 chaos hound stands and a deamon prince= 415pts (undivided)(BTS) Hellcannons= 200pts Coven with 6 land transporters = 260pts (Nurgle) Thunderbolt flight= 175pts Coven with 6 land transports = 260pts (Khorne) Deamon engine unit(khorne)= 300pts Coven with 1 hydra and 3 griffon mortars= 355pts (Nurgle) Artillery battery= 325pts =3000pts 10 activations |
