We'd like to announce the release of our 26th tournament legal armylist - Necrons http://epic-uk.co.uk/lists/CodexNecrons.pdf Quick reference sheet - http://epic-uk.co.uk/lists/NecronQuickRef.pdf Thanks to all the team who worked on, provided photos and tested this latest list. Necrons will be a legal list from, and including, Britcon. |

Interesting. I am very curious how the Destroyers get used (abused?) at 300 points. Time will tell... |

In playtesting they were found to be ok at around 300 pts. They had to come down in cost several times to be considered worth taking though. They're still not a "must have" choice and are competing for a place against Obolisks and flayed ones, as well as the neccessary Monoliths and Phalanx formations that make the army work. I like em, but some don't. ANy more than 300 pts though and I probably wouldn't bother. |

Mosc: I'd suspect this list version needs more monoliths due to the downpowered version of living metal, so I wouldn't be surprised if relative worths elsewhere changed as more points got eaten up by Monoliths. It may also just end up underpowered due to the nerf, but that's never a bad place to start from. |

*Threadomancy* Is there a timetable for a codex update by any chance already? And if yes, can i suggest to make Supreme Commander for a C'tan optional rather then mandatory? A DC 3 WE being your SC makes this iconic unit a poor choice for both casual & competitive games. Cheers |

We will get around to reviewing all our lists. But currently Necrons are not specifically timetabled for a review. It's likely to be one of the next few we do though. Regards your specific suggestion, C'tan will be looked at and may well be improved upon. But we tend to be old school, so if you bring your Star God to a battle I am afraid he is likely to be bossing you around ![]() |

Thanks for the info, yme-loc ![]() I can totally see the reason behind the Star Gods claiming leadership. If the plan for a future update is to leave it so but make the unit itself stronger then i am looking very much forward to it. |

We are also watching with great interest the development of the Sautekh list for a different take on our favourite Terminators Robots. |

Should get a battle report up this week (with the Sautekh not the UK). |
