Hi all, Looking for some feedback on this lot... Quote: DEATH COMPANY [350] 4 Death Company unis, plus Transport, Chaplain TACTICAL [475] 6 Tactial units plus Transport, Hunter, Supreme Commander ASSAULT [300] 6 Assault units, Chaplain SCOUT [225] 4 Scouts plus Transport, Snipers, Razorback HB TERMINATOR [400] 4 Terminator units, Chaplain THUNDERHAWK [200] 1 Thunderhawk gunship THUNDERHAWK [200] 1 Thunderhawk gunship WARHOUND TITAN [275] 1 Warhound Titan WARHOUND TITAN [275] 1 Warhound Titan THUNDERBOLTS [150] 2 Thunderbolt Fighters THUNDERBOLTS [150] 2 Thunderbolt Fighters The alternative that I'm really eager to take is to: - ditch a thunderhawk - ditch one of the two sets of thunderbolts - ditch the HB razorback from the scouts - replace with a detachment of whirlwinds with a hunter I really want some kind of barrage weapon in there, I always feel like I'm lacking the long range punch to dent large infantry detachments. So it's either whirlwinds, or wangle some way of putting a reaver in.. or marauders. Whirlwinds are more preferable, I can at least get a hunter in with them as well as I'm lacking in AA if I go down the marauder / reaver paths. Any thoughts, opinions etc.? Not really sure what each element of the army would do, I'd be tempted to do the obvious and load up both the assault and the death company detachments in both of the thunderhawks but realise I'd probably be better off leaving one thunderhawk empty. |

Ah, how do you find the whirlwinds? I've always made the mistake of leaving them unsupported (and usually sat on my blitz) in the past, rookie errors.. I'd be trying to keep them out of harms way with a detachment or two close enough to leap to their defence if anything got a bit messy. I think I'm settled on the alternative whirlwind list and just accept the fact that I've got a few less activations than I'm used to. So that'll be... Quote: DEATH COMPANY [350]
